In order to better serve our members in 2005, Golden Lotus Plus is conducting a survey. Two thousand Gold and Silver members will be selected at random and asked to answer questions on the services provided by our Golden Lotus Plus Center and partners. The questionnaires will be mailed in December 2004 and January 2005. Members who receive the questionnaires, fill them in and return them will receive a thank-you bonus of 3,000 points. Following a series of action to strengthen cultural exchange and to promote tourist market between Vietnam and Japan and to further reinforce Vietnam Airlines image to Japanese tourists, Vietnam Airlines Corporation has initiated Vietnam ? Japan Tourism & Culture Festival 2004. The event will be held at the 30-4 Park in Ho Chi Minh City from 19th to 21st November with the participation of administrative bodies of Ho Chi Minh City, representative of Japanese Association of Travel Agents (JATA), representative of 48 Japanese Tour Operators, reporters of 6 televisions, 2 broadcasting stations and 16 correspondents and mass media of both countries.
During the Festival, there are many cultural exchange actions, seminars on tourism development between two countries and photographic and handcraft exhibition. Visitors will have chances to experience special foods prepared by well-known chefs from Southern region of Vietnam.
The achievements of Vietnam Japan Tourism & Culture Festival will be the premise for organizing such events annually in other cities and targeted markets of Vietnam Airlines in future.

Danang International Airport is one of the three international airports in Vietnam. It has two runways with a length of 3045m and a width of 45m and modern equipment system serving various kinds of large aircraft to land safely at the airport. Everyday there are flights to cities in the country such as Hanoi Ho Chi Minh City Haiphong Nhatrang Dalat Hue Buon Me Thuot Aircraft from 20 countries have used the air route over Danang with the average number being between 100 and 150 overflights every 24 hours. At present procedures for opening international air routes from Danang to Hongkong Bangkok Kaoshiung etc. have been carried out. Annually between 800000 and 1000000 passengers have used Danang Airport. In the year 2000 the estimated number of passengers is 1.5 million and 4 million in 2020. |
