Seating
Your seat number is shown on your boarding card. Vietnam Airlines provides two classes of travel: Business class (C) and Economy class (Y). Seats are numbered from front to back in the aircraft. Your preferred seat can be reserved at the check-in counter when available.
Safety
Our cabin crew will demonstrate the safety procedures of the aircraft before take-off. You will also find the informative "Safety card" in the seat pocket in front ofy you. Oxygen masks are stored over your head. Life jackets are under your seats. Please keep your seat belt fastened whenever the seat belt sign in on, especially during take-off and landing. Since not all turbulence is predictable, you are advised to keep your seat belt fastened whenever you are seated.
Electronic equipment
Electronic equipment like AM/FM radios, electronic games, mobile phones, pagers, remote control devices, and compact disc players should not be used at any stage of the flight, even while the aircraft is on the ground, as they may interfere with the aircraft's electronic equipment.
Smoking regulations
Smoking is not allowed on all Vietnam Airlines flights. Passengers will be reminded of no-smoking rules while on board the aircraft.
Crew uniforms
Our female flight attendants wear dark red traditional ao dai tunics, while male attendants wear white shirts with dark red ties and black pants. They speak Vietnamese, English and one other Asian language, depending on the flight. Chief pursers wear a pin that reads "Chief Purser".
In-flight entertainment
Video
movies are screened on board Boeing 767s whenever flight time allows (more than 4 hours) and Boeing 777-200ER. Many newly released Hollywood movies are presented in English and French on dual audio tracks. Vietnamese movies, Vietnamese and international music videos and "Vietnam: Country and People" are screened on medium and long haul flights with subtitles in English or in Japanese (on Japan route).
Audio
Vietnam Airlines offers all-digital audio on B767s. There are 10 channels including a variety of international and Vietnamese music. Two channels are dedicated to programs in French or in Japanese depending on route.
Destinations information
Our destination videos assist visitors arriving at a destination for the first time. They cover immigration and customs procedures, transportation to and from the airport and airport facilities. Destination videos are now available on all Vietnam Airlines international flights.

As your comfort and convenience are our prime concern, your ideas on how our services might be improved are greatly appreciated. You can find a passenger comment form in your seat pocket. There are boxes in Vietnam's airports, or these forms may be mailed.

Danang International Airport is one of the three international airports in Vietnam. It has two runways with a length of 3045m and a width of 45m and modern equipment system serving various kinds of large aircraft to land safely at the airport. Everyday there are flights to cities in the country such as Hanoi Ho Chi Minh City Haiphong Nhatrang Dalat Hue Buon Me Thuot Aircraft from 20 countries have used the air route over Danang with the average number being between 100 and 150 overflights every 24 hours. At present procedures for opening international air routes from Danang to Hongkong Bangkok Kaoshiung etc. have been carried out. Annually between 800000 and 1000000 passengers have used Danang Airport. In the year 2000 the estimated number of passengers is 1.5 million and 4 million in 2020.
